Anil Dhirubhai Ambani (born 4 June 1959) is an Indian businessman. He is the chairman of Reliance Group (also known as Reliance ADA Group), which was created in July 2006 following a demerger from Reliance Industries Limited. He leads a number of stocks listed corporations including Reliance Capital,Reliance Infrastructure,Reliance Power and Reliance CommunicationsHe served in the Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Parliament of India from Uttar Pradesh as an Independent MP between 2004 and 2006.Anil Ambani is the younger son of the founder of Reliance Industries, Dhirubhai Ambani and his wife Kokilaben. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Kishinchand Chellaram College and received a Master in Business Administration at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1983.
Tina Anil Ambani (nee Munim) is a former Indian actress and chairperson of the Mumbai-based Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Harmony for Silvers Foundation and Harmony Art Foundation. She is also Chairperson of Group CSR, Reliance Group,and the Mudra Foundation for Communications Research and Education (MFFCRE), as well as Chief Mentor and Advisor for the Strategic Planning Committee of the Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology (DA-IICT). Ambani was born Tina Munim on 11 February 1958.She graduated high school in 1975 from the MM Pupils Own School in Khar, Bombay. The same year, she was crowned Femina Teen Princess India 1975 and represented India at the Miss Teenage Intercontinental contest in Aruba, where she was crowned second runner-up. She subsequently enrolled in Jai Hind College for a degree in Arts. Later in 1970s, she joined the Hindi film industry and had a successful career as a leading actress, for thirteen years.

The next time Tina and Anil met in Philadelphia, he earned his MBA from Wharton in 1983. Anil was introduced to Tina through someone, and he asked her out, but she politely declined Anil’s offer.
