About Randhir Kapoor
Randhir Kapoor is an Indian actor, producer and director who has worked in Hindi films. The son of actor-director Raj Kapoor, he started his career as an actor in the 1970 film Kal Aaj Aur Kal. He has since appeared in over 70 films. As a child, he appeared in his father’s films Awaara, Shree 420 and Mera Naam Joker. He played leading roles in the films Jawani Diwani, Bobby, Prem Rog and Henna. In the 1980s, he produced and directed the films Henna and Prem. Kapoor has been a member of the Kapoor family, which has dominated the Hindi film industry for several decades. He is the father of actresses Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor.
