Harbhajan Singh (born 3 July 1980) is an Indian former cricketer and cricket commentator who played for the Indian national cricket team. A specialist spin bowler, Singh played for India between 1998 and 2016.Harbhajan Singh was born into a Sikh family. Geeta Basra Singh (born 13 March 1984) is a British-born Indian actress who has appeared in Bollywood films.Basra was born to Indian Punjabi Hindu parents in Portsmouth, Hampshire on the south coast of England,but now resides in Mumbai, India. She has one younger brother, Rahul.She studied acting at the Kishore Namit Kapoor Acting Institute.She was first seen in the Emraan Hashmi-starrer Dil Diya Hai in 2006 in which she played a girl who is sold into prostitution by her lover. Basra was also seen in the music video for the Sukshinder Shinda and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan song “Ghum Sum Ghum Sum”, playing the love interest of the male protagonist played by Rahul Bhat.

Cricketer Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra’s romance started with a music video.
Harbhajan, in an interview, admitted that it was love at first sight for him after he saw Geeta in ‘Woh Ajnabee’ music video from the movie ‘The Train’. He was in awe of his future wife and was eager to meet her. He got her contact from a friend and that’s how their Bollywood-like love affair started.Initially, Geeta ignored Harbhajan’s message asking her for a date. However, she later texted the cricketer to congratulate him on the 2007 T20 World Cup win.
As per reports, they first met during the first season of Indian Premiere League (IPL). Harbhajan had arranged match tickets for his lady love.
The duo then met over coffee during the match and became friends and soon it transitioned into love.
While Harbhajan was eager to ask Geeta out, the actress had told him they needed to be friends first and then take it from there.
