Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia (born 9 September 1967), known professionally as Akshay Kumar , is an Indian-born naturalised Canadian actor, film producer, martial artist and television personality who works in Bollywood,Kumar was born in Amritsar, Punjab, India, to Hari Om Bhatia and Aruna Bhatia in a Punjabi family. His father was an army officer.He received his school education from Don Bosco High School, Matunga,simultaneously learning Karate. He enrolled in Guru Nanak Khalsa College for higher education, but dropped out as he was not much interested in studies.He requested his father that he wanted to learn martial arts further.After having obtained a black belt in Taekwondo while in India,he studied martial arts in Bangkok, Thailand, where he learned Muay Thai and worked as a chef and waiter.After Thailand, Kumar went to work in Calcutta (present-day Kolkata) in a travel agency, in Dhaka in a hotel as a chef and Delhi where he sold Kundan jewellery. Twinkle Khanna (also known as Tina Jatin Khanna; born on 29 December 1974) is a former film actress.She is the daughter of famous Bollywood actor Rajesh Khanna and famous actress Dimple Kapadia.Twinkle Khanna was born in Mumbai,Khanna attended the New Era High School, Panchgani and the Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics.After finishing her Class 12th, she wanted to pursue a career as chartered accountant and gave the entrance examination but joined the film industry instead on the insistence of her parents. Before beginning her film career, Khanna went through an eye surgery.

The two first met during a shoot for Filmfare magazine, in Mumbai, where Akshay developed an instant crush on Twinkle. In one of his interviews with Filmfare, the actor confessed the same and said:I met Twinkle for the first time during a photo session with Jayesh Seth for Filmfare. I still have that photograph. Thank you Filmfare!However, it was actually during the shooting of their film, International Khiladi, when the two had fallen in love with one another. During the shoot of International Khiladi, Twinkle had developed an interest in this ‘six feet of chocolate ice cream’ as a rebound from her failed relationship. In Twinkle’s words, ‘It was kind of perfect!’.On an episode of the popular TV show, Koffee With Karan, Akshay revealed that Twinkle was very confident of her upcoming release, Mela, in 2000. She was certain that it would do well and told him that in case the movie fails to create magic at the box office, she would marry him. Luckily for them, the movie flopped, and soon they got married.
