Albert Finney (9 May 1936 – 7 February 2019) was an English actor. He attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and worked in the theatre before attaining prominence on screen in the early 1960s, debuting with The Entertainer (1960), directed by Tony Richardson, who had previously directed him in the theatre. He maintained a successful career in theatre, film and television.Finney was born in Salford, Lancashire, the son of Alice (née Hobson) and Albert Finney, a bookmaker. He was educated at Tootal Drive Primary School, Salford Grammar School and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), from which he graduated in 1956.While at RADA Finney made an early TV appearance playing Mr Hardcastle in Oliver Goldsmith’s She Stoops to Conquer. The BBC filmed and broadcast the RADA students’ performances at the Vanbrugh Theatre in London on Friday 6 January 1956. Other members of the cast included Roy Kinnear and Richard Briers.Finney graduated from RADA and became a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company.

In her early years, she studied acting and dance besides her regular education. Although the majority of her films were French, she also made films in Spain, Great Britain, Italy and Germany, along with some American productions.Aimée was born in Paris to actor Henri Murray (born Henry Dreyfus; 30 January 1907 – 29 January 1984)and actress Geneviève Sorya (née Durand; 23 June 1912 – 23 March 2008).Her early education took place at l’École de la rue Milton, in Paris; École de Barbezieux; Pensionnat de Bandol; and Institution de Megève. She studied dance at Marseille Opera; During WW2 she finished her schooling at Mayfield School, Mayfield in Sussex, but left before taking final exams, studied theatre in England, after which she studied dramatic art and dance with Andrée Bauer-Thérond.
